Apple TV+ is taking us to Cape Fear: Reimagining the classic thriller as a tense revenge series. When convicted killer Max Cady (Javier Bardem) is released from prison, he sets his sights on the attorneys responsible for putting him away: Anna and Tom Bowden, played by Amy Adams and Patrick Wilson. Inspired by the 1991 film directed by Martin Scorsese and produced by Steven Spielberg, the series is created by Nick Antosca and promises a storm of suspense, obsession, and vengeance.
