Netflix will release the sixth season of The Crown in two installments. The initial four episodes will be available for streaming starting on November 16, followed by the remaining episodes on December 14.
In addition to bidding farewell to the series as a whole, viewers will also be transitioning from The Crown's portrayal of the 20th century in its sixth and final season. While the recently released teaser primarily focuses on themes of the past, permanence, and legacy — featuring Claire Foy and Olivia Colman as Queen Elizabeth II — the popular show will also venture into the 21st century in its latest installment.
The Crown will delve into the early stages of Prince William and Kate Middleton's relationship, and will highlight the man currently second in line to the throne following Queen Elizabeth II's passing in 2022.
